Day trip to Garner State Park. We started with lunch featuring Grandpa's famous brisket.

Hike to the dam and some fun swimming.

Another race.

There is not much water this year!

Matthew is looking for gold.

Short rest.

A bumpy ride.

Mom gives the tubing run a try.

Down time to read the paper........

We started Thursday at the caverns near Boerne.

One Stalagmite we could touch.

Our tour guide was a Navy seal.

On the way home, we went to Delamain's Creek (near church) for a picnic and to fish.

Grandpa helped Matthew with the hook.

Matthew cast the line out with a little help.

As soon as the line hit the water, Matthew caught a fish (end of red arrow).

THE fish!

This one and many more were quickly returned to the creek to grow up.

Mimi did a little fishing.

She caught a 2" bass on a 2" lure!

Then Mimi and Matthew rested......

... while Mom caught a few.

Then it was off to the church for a dip in the pool.

They had a cool slide.

Once Matthew found the slide, it was HIS!

This was a full and fun day!!!!

Before going to Sea World, Mimi took a splinter out of Grandpa's foot!

The bath tub was the best way to get the foot high enough for her!

We started Sea World with the Viva! show. This was the highlight of the visit! It started with a clown and lots of water jets.

Beluga whales were Mimi's favorite.

Matthew loved the dolphins.

Matthew with the "clown". He was also a major part of the entire production.

Matthew found a new friend in the sand play area.

Mom and Matthew fed the dolphins.

This was a BIG tank. We watched a diver feed the fish and sting rays.

This shark picture was taken for Melissa.

BIG water guns! Matthew ran into his sand box friend here.

The see-saw had a built-in water gun.

Mom loved the BIG water bucket dump. She is someplace under the water.

We got home after over 6 hours in the sun. The fort still had to be taken down so we could leave for Lake Jackson early the next morning.

It was a FUN visit!!!
